Combined pressure and magnetic-field induced caloric effects in Fe7Se8 single crystals

The effect of hydrostatic pressure on magnetic entropy change in a field, ΔSm, Fe7Se8 single crystals is determined. application shifts the spin–reorientation transition temperature, TSRT, to lower temperatures, similar action field applied perpendicularly c-axis. magnetization parallel c-axis monotonically decreases under increasing pressure. ΔSm and refrigeration capacity investigated strongly depend TSRT thus Experimental results are described frame one-ion model anisotropy.
